Highlights include two sixth plate daguerreotype portraits of two likely siblings, both with chubby faces and similar poses, both with mats marked for McElroy and housed together in a geometric union case with non-functioning closure clasp; a sixth plate daguerreotype portrait of a young boy wearing a blue-tinted shirt and a very concerned expression on his face, housed in a half pressed paper case; a sixth plate daguerreotype portrait of a young girl with her arm resting on a possible coverlet draped over the table next to her, housed in a pressed paper case; a very clear sixth plate daguerreotype portrait of a baby girl posed lounging on a chair wearing a stark white dress, with her face slightly blurred suggesting some movement during exposure, housed in a pressed paper case; and a charming sixth plate daguerreotype of two siblings, the older child standing with his arm around the seated younger child, who wears a very worried expression, housed in pressed paper case fully separated at spine.
