Off-white pages. Nice copy with potential to slab at 4.5. Cover: Unknown (the linework seems inspired by L.B. Cole, but lacks Cole's unique color sense). Art: One story by Jay Disbrow; other artists unknown. Overstreet: "Disbrow art (classic)." CGC Census: Only ten slabbed copies. GPAnalysis: No reported sales in this grade. Only two sales in any grade. A 5.5 sold for $150 in May 2021, and an 8.0 sold for an absurd $145 in December 2019. Chock-full of crudely-drawn violence including a Bonnie-and-Clyde style romance-crime caper; hypodermic panels (the needle's full of insulin rather than "H", but still); a grinning gunman who perforates punks; pistol-whippings; sad sacks sizzling in the electric chair; etc. Pick of the litter in this trashy classic is Jay Disbrow's "Ultimate Destiny," a wacky story of murder and supernatural revenge featuring a closing panel so profound in it's barf-inducing intensity that the publisher gave it horizontal full-page treatment, requiring the reader to tilt the mag 45 degrees to get the full effect. This mag is seriously undervalued by collectors, probably because in our slab-centric era few of them have ever laid eyes on Disbrow's morbid masterpiece.
