Both are engraved: "Lehigh Structural / Steel Company / To / George W. Welty / 25 Years of Service", caps engraved "GWW". Mr. Welty was a supervisor at the company who retired after 50 years. The instruments and original display box are in excellent condition, and were clearly treasured greatly by Mr. Welty (or forgotten about in a sock drawer).
