Collation: s6 a8 b-y 6 z 8 ( title, r prefatory letter by the author to Aimericus de Placentia, dedication to Carolus II of Anjou, chapter headings, a1r text, z7v colophon, z8 blank). 147 (of 148, without final blank) leaves. 46 lines and headline, double column. Type: 1:160G, 2:99G, 3:91G. 3- to 6-line initial spaces with guide-letter. (Blank upper corner of title replaced, a few sheets browned, occasional spotting, heavier in n1.6, marginal dampstains in final quire.) 18th-century vellum, ?German armorial label at foot of spine, red edges.
