First illustrated edition of this libertine work published for the first time in 1742. 2 parts in one volume, 12mo (144 x 75mm). Titles printed in red and black, the second work with second title printed in black, 4 engraved vignettes and 5 engravings repeated twice, the second with a specular image, including two as frontispiece, woodcut initials and headpieces (few small scattered stains). Brown morocco by Lortic Freres with gilt arms of the Prince of Masséna, gilt edges. Provenance: V. Baptiste?
