cover CANADA: 1867 (1 Apr.) envelope from Napier to "Mohawk Post Office" , Brant County, Canada West, bearing 1864-67 first provisional imperforate 1/- emerald-green (creased) with margins nearly all round and neatly cancelled "11" and with Napier c.d.s. at left, manuscript "4" and "20c." in blue crayon on face, St. Thomas and Quebec c.d.s. on reverse; the adhesive removed from the cover (which has been cleaned) and incorrectly misplaced, though from an original find and unquestionably genuine.
