cover 1877 (12 May) envelope from Lydenburg to England, bearing imperf. 6d. blue cancelled "13" in combination with Griqualand West red overprint Type 3 pair and Type 6 wing-margin strip of six, all clearly cancelled "1" in oval of bars at Cape Town, and showing Lydenburg and Cape Town c.d.s. alongside the adhesives; one stamp of each type creased through having originally been affixed over the edge of the cover, the lower left corner of the envelope cut-away, this almost certainly having been franked with stamps to the value of 2d.
