Aug 3" c.d.s. on fresh neat buff cover to Princeton, Ill., most likely an 1858 usage as the ship Yankee sailed from Honolulu on July 13th and arrived in San Francisco on August 3rd, both stamps have been cleaned to remove toning which is still evident on the 12c stamp, OTHERWISE FINE, A RARE AND VERY DESIRABLE HAWAIIAN-UNITED STATES COMBINATION FRANKING COVER, Scott retail $12,000.00 photo
