cover 1849-69, the collection of mail (mostly to or from Bermuda) carried by the Cunard Steamship Company, neatly written up in blue Godden De Luxe album, including a good number of items with British Postal Agency datestamps from the West Indies, Central/South America with Demerara, Porto Rico, St. Thomas; two examples of the red Crowned circle "PAID/AT/ST. THOMAS"; internal marks with circular unframed "ST. GEORGES/BERMUDA" d.s. (red and black), etc., 1858 envelope from Nova Scotia with good light strike of the five-line "HALIFAX/PAID/FEB. 2/1858/NOVA SCOTIA" d.s., 1864 entire from Nova Scotia bearing 10c. and showing distinctive handstruck "4" in black alongside, etc.; a comprehensive range of carrying ships with many items showing relevant manuscript inscriptions; mostly good to fine.
