cover 1848 (Jan.) mourning envelope (with contents) to London, written at the Palace, Valletta, 1848 (June) entire letter to Patras showing Greek "Beyond the Sea" oval h.s. in green, 1852 (Feb.) envelope to England and 1856 (Nov.) entire letter to Sira, each with strike of the black "MALTA/PAID" double-arc d.s. ( MPC-1a ); also 1855 (Aug.) entire letter to Leghorn and 1857 (Feb.) envelope to England, both showing mainly good to fine strikes of the black "MALTA/PAID" double-arc d.s. ( MPC-1b ). Also 1848 (Jan.) P.& O. receipt given to the Governor of Malta and an 1850 Medical Services receipt.
