cover -- 1812 (July) E.L. from "Bechenkowilsky" to Baron Bignon at Vilna, Lithuania showing "NO.11/GRANDE ARMÉE" mainly good in red; (Aug.) E.L. from "Globoco" to Amsterdam with "NO.20/GRANDE ARMÉE" fair to good in red, and (Oct.) E.L. from a French sharpshooter in Moscow to his parents, showing "NO.11/GRANDE ARMÉE" mainly good in black and with interesting contents regarding the long marches, lack of food, and mentions "we are now in the capital of Russia and the Russians have set fire to it to make us perish of hunger" . The first is in fine, clean condition, but the other two are somewhat ragged and stained. Also 1812 (July) Grand Armée printed bulletin published at Gloubokoe.
