Illustrated in Phillips, American Stampless Cover Catalog , vol. 2, p. 218. Fine. A VERY RARE COOLIDGE FREE FRANK AS PRESIDENT A very attractive example. The Hessel Collection contained a Coolidge frank, but on an "Official Business" envelope (rather than a White House envelope), as did the Edward Stern Collection ( History of the 'Free Franking' of Mail in the United States , plate 12, cover 5). Exhibited : World Stamp Expo '89, Washington, D.C., 17 November--3 December 1989.
