With previous restorations, beautifully carved figure, both faces and hands repainted, traces of original paint to bodies and drapery of Virgin, losses to edges throughout, losses to both sides of Virgin's mantle, losses to Virgin's forefinger of right hand, repaired breaks to child's right arm, repaired break and losses to left side of book with age cracks running from book down through the Virgin's right knee and leg, pieces lacking to left front corner of plinth, age cracks throughout, craquelure to painted and gilt decoration
