FIRST ENGLISH EDITIONS of the important actions of the First Continental Congress, including the Bill of Rights, the List of Grievances, the Association, the Address to the People of Great Britain, and the Memorial to the Inhabitants of the British American Colonies. The Journal, the second work bound here, contains the parts of the original Journals omitted from the Extracts, published the same year as the Journals. There were two British editions of the Journal, published the same year, the other by Charles Dilly. Howes terms these texts "The forerunner of the Declaration of Independence".
