This is the first compilation of state constitutions to be published as a single volume subsequent to the ratification of the Federal Constitution. Included are the Declaration of Independence, the Articles of Confederation, the Constitution of the United States and the constitutions of the thirteen original colonies, plus the states of Vermont, Louisiana, Kentucky, Ohio, Tennessee, Mississippi, Indiana, and Illinois.
