Also, additionally signed with inscribed note and drawing by Bukowski on title verso: “Your Jack-Ass Fog, Buk” with drawing of a drunk man passed out with bottle and “Love, Lox, 10-22065, L.A.” by Bukowski. Second to last blank leaf with an original abstract ink drawing dated 10-65 and signed “Buk” and on last blank leaf an inked note also signed by Bukowski “No Drawing but the Wound! ha, ha, ha, Buk” which he circled in a caption bubble-like drawing. Unusual but classic Bukowski; played with pen and ink during a drinking session with his buddy Steve Richmond. His first prose work and the first appearance of Buk’s famous reoccurring character, Henry Chinaski (made further famous in Barfly). Dorbin A8; Fogel 17; Krumhansl 17.
