(ähnlich dem Orthoskop von Petzval) startete er den Versuch, verzeichnungsfreie Landschaftsobjektive herzustellen. Ein nahezu verzeichnungsfreies Objektiv schaffte er erst im dritten Anlauf mit seiner "Double Periscopic Landscape Lens". Ein photohistorisch bedeutsames und seltenes Beispiel früher englischer Optik! Zum Wechsel der Ringblende kann der vordere Teil vom Objektivtubus herausgezogen werden! Brennweite: ca. 40 cm.
