This is a very early Columbia Grand Gramaphone by the American Gramaphone Co. in an oak Parlor "C" type roll desk. The drawers of the desk are designed to hold additional grand rolls, and the top two draws will hold extra other accessories. The patent dates on the phonograph mechanism are May 4 1887 and June 10, 1890. The oak desk is in beautiful condition and the phonograph mechanism is original and untouched. Works perfectly and quietly. Has one reproduced wax roll. Comes with large brass horn and crane. A amazingly difficult phonograph to find in any condition and this one is just beautiful.
