.45 caliber, 7.5" barrel, serial number 43323. Top of barrel stamped Colt Patent Firearms Co. Hartford, CT USA. Wood grips. Three-line patent address on left side of frame. Condition: Gun has basically oxidized to a grey-to-light brown look with oxidation showing throughout the entire revolver. Ejector rod has its tip broken off. Serial number on trigger guard has been ground-off. Back strap is stamped with serial number 42113 which is mis-matched from others. A well-used single-action Colt from the 1878 period.
