.45 caliber, 5.5" barrel length, S/N 54110. Three-line patent markings and US on the left side of frame. Single-line barrel address. Serial numbers are matching on the frame, triggerguard, and backstrap. Cylinder number does not match, but this is not uncommon with artilleries. One-piece walnut grips. This revolver comes with a letter from John Kopec. Condition: Revolver is sharp and crisp with nice untouched patina. Some blue in the flutes of the cylinder. All sub-inspector's markings are nice and sharp. Grips are a little worn but are correct for this revolver. Kopec's letter states that this revolver was in the first artillery contract of 1880.
