Condition: This desirable Colt Baby Dragoon is in overall very good + condition displaying an even dark patina to metal surfaces, hints of original case colors to the frame, visible portions of original cylinder scene; considerable original silver wash to brass straps. The action is crisp. The bore is very good with strong rifling and the markings are overall very good. The grips are also very good with some original varnish remaining. Per Flayderman's Guide to Antique American Firearms (5B-037), this model was manufactured from 1847 thru 1850 with approximately 15,000 produced.
