The action is crisp. The bore is very good with strong rifling and the markings are overall very good. The grips are also very good with some original varnish remaining. Per Flayderman's Guide to Antique American Firearms (5B-037), this model was manufactured from 1847 thru 1850 with approximately 15,000 produced.
