Comprising: JOANNA 'the Mad' (1479-1555, mother of Charles I [V]). Document signed ('Yo la Reyna'), Valladolid, 5 November 1550, 2 pages folio (298 x 200mm.), with papered seal over counter-signatures, small tear, slightly soiled and dampstained . Appointing Céspedes de Oviedo 'corregidor, alcade y alguacil' of the city of Madrid replacing Don Juan de Acuña. JOANNA OF PORTUGAL (1537-1573, sister of Philip II). Document signed ('Yo la Principesa'), Valladolid, 21 June 1558, one page folio (304 x 205mm.), counter signed by Juan de Galarca, tears slightly soiled . Granting Céspedes as 'ntrs. consejo de Navarra. Nos hasido hecha relacion que pero ruiz clerigo ya defunto cura que fue de la Villa de sancta gadeia diocis de Burgos del ntro. consejo de Navarra ... los bienes muebles, raizes y semovientes', counter signed by Juan de Galarca. PHILIP II (King of Spain, 1556-1598): Document signed ('Yo el Rey'), Madrid, 16 November 1562, one page folio (418 x 289mm.), the reverse with papered seal and annotated, torn . Awarding Céspedes the title of 'alcalde de casa y corte y rastro' in the place of Don Durango, counter signed by Francisco de Eraso. And five other documents (2 certificates, 2 petitions and one confirmation) relating to Cérpedes, his sons and grandson, 1550-1602.
