Collection comprising a partly unused chequebook with two dozen engraved cheques remaining to be drawn on Messrs Thomas Coutts & Co (stubs of the drawn cheques dated 1786); deed of trust and printed regulations of the Radium Institute, signed by Sir Frederick Treves and others (1914); a group of deeds relating to the family of Wordsworth's daughter Dora Quillinan; a Burne-Jones deed of settlement signed by Stanley Baldwin; deeds of appointment bearing engraved initial letters portrait by George III and Victoria; a Victoria patent for zinc extraction; collection of printed and other ephemera relating to canals and to London institutions, deeds, a lawyer's schedule of deeds and papers (including a schedule of mid 18th century Southwark deeds); a settlement listing paintings belonging to Viscountess Downe (1840); a printed enclosure act for Calstone-Wellington and Lackland, Wilts (1813); and much else, vellum and paper, dust-staining etc.
