COL Autograph album containing letters and clipped signatures predominantly by literary figures, politicians and members of the Royal family, including a letter from Prince Albert to ("My dear Sir") thanking him for "those interesting journals of which you were so as to let me have the preceding volumes", pasted in, 2 pages, 1855; autograph letter from the Duke of Wellington signed ("Wellington"), on paper watermarked '1828', headed "Private & Confidential", 2 pages, integral leaf signed and dated, 18 July 1830; autograph letter from William Rowan Hamilton signed ("W R Hamilton") to Dr. Robinson, 2 pages, 8vo, 31 August 1854; autograph letter from Lord Palmerston to Lord Campbell, 8vo, Broadlands, 25 (?) December 1859; and a number of other autograph letters and clipped signatures from the 19th century, most loosely mounted into album with a few pasted in, a number of clippings loosely inserted, cloth spine of album defective with pages loose.
