COL A fascinating collection of royal photographs and ephemera. Highlights include: a mounted (36.1 x 29cm) black and white photograph by Cecil Beaton of Princess Margaret in her wedding dress, signed and dated by the Princess in ink below the picture "Margaret 1960". Some edge wear and chipping to margins, but the signature remains unaffected. A mounted 26.6 x 20.2cm black and white half length photograph by Dorothy Wilding of Princess Marina, Duchess of Kent, signed and dated in ink below the picture "Marina 1953". Light wear to corners. Lot also includes a printed copy of the wedding service for 1960 marriage of Princess Margaret and Anthony Armstrong Jones at Westminster Abbey; a black and white half length photograph of Princess Marina, signed and dated in blue ink "Marina 1966" and housed in an original tooled blue leather and gilt frame by Jarrolds of Knightsbridge; a Royal Christmas Card for 1966 featuring a mounted black and white photograph of the Queen Mother stepping off a plane on her 1966 visit to Australia; unsigned pictures of the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh on the coronation day and other formal occasions; three unused sheets of headed "Norman Hartnell Limited" letter paper featuring embossed royal coats of arms, other royal pictures and cards sent to Madame Isabelle Fowler and three black and white photographs of models wearing Norman Hartnell creations plausibly made by Madame Isabelle Fowler. A good value lot, viewing recommended.
