Cockburn--Vintage 1955 Five with Cockburn metal capsules, good labels, levels base of neck or better. Six with embossed metal capsules, one missing, levels into neck. One English-bottled by The Wine Society, damaged embossed wax capsule, torn and bin-soiled label, level top-shoulder Tasting Note: "Good colour; nose dusty at first, then creamy, opening up richly, fragrantly; lovely flavour, lean touch, but refined and flowery. Long, dry finish, fragrant aftertaste. Last noted May 2002. At best ****. M.B.
