Housed in full case separated at hinge. Tarnish ring to plate, with some surface spots, scratches. 2 ninth plate tintypes of the same subject, one in which the gentleman is wearing a kepi, the other-possibly post-wear, showing who may be the same man in civilian clothing. Housed in full Union case with some corner, edge chipping. Quarter plate Union case with geometric/scroll design. Interior with openings on each side for a photograph, and each includes mat. One mat with patriotic shields at each corner. The case currently contains lithographed portraits of young women.
