Lot of 10. Four views of the Grand Review in Washington, May 23-24, 1865: one unmarked; the other 3 from E. & H.T. Antony & Co., War Views series (two yellow, one orange mount). One view is of the reviewing stand in front of the White House where Grant, Sherman, the Cabinet and others were stationed. Anthony & Co., "Battlefield before Fort Stevens: Ruins of a house destroyed by the fort garrison to secure a range, July 12, 1864." Two standing chimneys were all that remained. Anthony & Co., War Views. Interior of Fort Richardson, Va. No. 2311. Orange mount. Anthony & Co., War Views. Camp Life, Army of the Potomac. Basking in the Sunshine. No. 1500. Yellow mount, not preprinted. The War Photograph & Exhibition Company, 2318: The Sally-port and Draw-bridge. With extensive description on verso. Stereoview of Lincoln, made from copies of a tintype.
