Comprising: Abraham Lincoln signature tipped-in and held in black cloth mourning frame with ribbon, reading in full "Hon. Secretary of the Treasury, I oblige him if you consistantly can. A. Lincoln, Dec. 27, 1864." Includes further signatures of Andrew Johnson (Vice-President), William H. Seward (Secretary of State), F. W. Seward (Assistant Secretary of State), Edwin Stanton (Secretary of War), Gideon Welles (Secretary of the Navy), Hugh McCulloch (Secretary of the Treasury), Hamilton Fish (Secretary of State), George S. Boutwell, Jacob Dolson Cox (Secretary of the Interior), Ebenezer R. Hoar (Attorney General), George Maxwell Robeson (Secretary of the Navy), W.A. Browning (Private Secretary), R.W. Mussey (Brigadier General & Military Secretary), Charles Sumner, Thaddeus Stevens, Schuyler Colfax, Ulysses S. Grant, a clipped signature of Charles Giteau, assassin of Preseident Garfield. as well as numerous others. Also laid is a cabinet card depicting Lincoln and his son, backstamped "Frank Proctor Hollidaysburg, PA."
