Circa 4th Century B.C. Decorated with a figure of winged Eros, holding a patera in his right hand and a tambor in his left and wearing a foliate wreath, side (b) with a female figure wearing a belted chiton pinned at the shoulders, holding a casket in her left hand above an altar and a tambor in her right, wearing a radiate stephane, both flanked by foliate scrolls, with a window and rosettes in the field, palmettes under the handles, and ovolo below the rim, the interior impressed with six leaves, set on a ridged foot, 25/8in. (6.8cm.) high, handles repaired; seven Roman pottery lamps with variously decorated discoi, one with Dionysos and a centaur, one with two warriors in combat, one with Eros, one with a dove holding a laurel branch, one with a centaur, one with a boar and one with a rosette, circa 1st-4th Centuries A.D., 37/8in. (9.8cm.) maximum length; and eleven other various lamps, including one styled as a face with three protruding wicks, set on a heart-shaped base, possibly Roman, 4½in. (11.5cm.), a North African red-ware lamp, the discus moulded with St. Francis of Asisi surrounded by animals, circa 5th-6th Century A.D., 5½in. (14cm.) long, an early Christian lamp with floral motifs around the shoulder, circa 8th-12th Cenuries A.D., 4in. (10.3cm.) long, some of the others Roman or Islamic and some Not Ancient (a lot)
