Title within a fine woodcut historiated border (lacks, according to Adams, a-h 6, these leaves not mentioned in the Table of Contents, lacks the blank HH4, title and a few margins very lightly stained). 19th-century roan-backed cloth, gilt spine (rather rubbed). Provenance : Benigno Fasani, 1706 (ownership inscription on title) - L.A. Burd (armorial bookplate). FIRST EDITION of Vettori's recension. Adams C1639. CICERO, Marcus Tullius. [Opera] . Paris: Robert Estienne, 1543. Volume VII only (of 8), 2 parts in one volume, 8°. Woodcut device on titles (a few light marks). 18th-century calf gilt, gilt edges (very rubbed, lacks label).
