Lot details China, 1850-1949. Ink and watercolors on fabric. One painting with two chrysanthemums borne on leafy stems, one white and the second reddish black. The other painting similarly executed with a single yellow chrysanthemum. Note the highly detailed, naturalistic manner of painting, strikingly capturing the complexity of the flowers. (2) Condition: Good condition with minor wear, soiling, foxing, few small creases and minuscule losses. Provenance: Belgian trade, by repute acquired from a Belgian private collection.
