Christoffel Jeger (1596-c. 1653), After Sir Peter Paul Rubens Rest on the flight into Egypt (Hollstein 4) woodcut, circa 1635, laid paper with an unidentified watermark, second state (of three), with narrow margins, two flattened central vertical creases, two stains in the upper subject and one at the lower right corner, the borderline touched in with ink in places, surface dirt and staining, remains of old hinges on the reverse, together with Rest on the Flight into Egypt , by Cornelius Galle, engraving B. 18¼ x 23¾ in.
