Very rare first edition of this literary-artistic-didactic poem on the paintings, with separate sections on design, color, perspective, inventiveness, style, etc., accompanied by extensive notes, indexes of the artists quoted and painting schools. Following are "Different Composers of the same Author", among which are the "Dramatic Composition Over Painting" and the "The Sculpture" and "The Painting" singers. It also includes a sonnet addressed to the Smith console, the famous supporter of the Venetian artists of the eighteenth century. Count Chiusole born in Rovereto was a literate, historian and painter and pupil of Pompeo Batoni Cicognara 979.
