Chinese Famille Verte Glazed Porcelain Rouleau Vase Qing Dynasty, Kangxi Period The slightly tapered sides rising to an angled shoulder and cylindrical neck with a slightly raised band surmounted by a galleried rim, painted with scenes of figures engaged in rice and silk production amongst dense trees and stylized rock formations in a lush green landscape, the shoulder with shaped vignettes enclosing scholars objects reserved on a diaper ground, all below a continuous scene of figures in a mountainous river landscape on the neck and a keyfret band at the rim.
