Inscribed by Cole on verso of second largest block, "Pour le sujet de Greco/La Couronnement de la Virge/grandeur de bois/Timoteo Cole"; in morocco and cloth fall-down-back box. 2. Old Dutch and Flemish Masters New York: The Century Co., 1895. First and limited edition, #5/45 copies, signed by printer J.C. Bauer, and printed on hand-made paper at the De Vinne Press. 4to. x, (ii), 192 pp. With critical notes by John C. Van Dyke, and comments by Bauer. Profusely illustrated with engravings on Japan silk paper. Original three-quarter white cloth over paper-covered boards, paper spine label, boards toned; top edge trimmed, other edges untrimmed; in original box, worn, some panels perished. 3. Old English Masters (New York: The Century Co., 1902). First and limited edition, one of 150 copies on Japan silk paper. In two (of three) volumes; lacking text volume. Folio.
