Château Mouton-Rothschild--Vintage 1988 Pauillac, 1er cru classé "Yet still youthful looking, with a rich, toasty nose which then reminded me of warm tea and, after an hour, 'sodden wholemeal biscuits'. Palate full of fruit, delicious flavour, easy to drink (all the wines at these '10-year' tastings were served during dinner), very rich but a slightly bitter finish.
