Château Lynch-Bages--Vintage 1996 Pauillac, 5me cru classé In original wooden case Tasting Note: April 1997: fairly intense purple; touch of tar; sweet, good fruit and grip. Next, at a Lynch-Bages/Batailley masterclass (June 2000). Though still impressively deep, starting to mature; nose and palate now well developed, sweet delicious, fairly full-bodied (13 alcohol), masked tannins.
