This auction marks the celebration of four decades under the stewardship of the Dillon family, showcasing an impressive array of wines in various formats, including both historic and recent vintages, along with rare assortment cases and exclusive experiences. All the different wines produced at Château La Mission Haut-Brion including Château Quintus, were directly released from their cellars for this sale. 
Every lot in this auction was meticulously examined by Sotheby's experts at Domaine Clarence Dillon in June 2024 and all bottles have excellent levels and appearance unless otherwise indicated.
Following the inspection, the cases were securely sealed at the Domaine and transported in a dedicated, temperature-controlled truck.
Château La Mission Haut-Brion | Celebrating 40 Vintages by Domaine Clarence Dillon comprises all of the different wines produced at La Mission Haut-Brion from 1920 to 2022, including Châteaux Laville Haut-Brion, La Tour Haut-Brion and La Chapelle de La Mission Haut-Brion, the second wine of La Mission Haut-Brion. Also featured is the exceptional Saint-Émilion Grand Cru Château Quintus and its second wine, Le Dragon de Quintus. 
A tribute to La Mission Haut-Brion, the sale represents a rare opportunity to acquire these wines that with Ex Cellars provenance, hold a legendary status among collectors.

Sotheby’s cannot arrange or take responsibility for shipments to non-UK buyers, but will be pleased to introduce them to a forwarding agent.
