Enlarged second edition published three years after the first, Shaftesbury’s ideas remained highly influential throughout the century. Rothschild 1831 (later edition). Sold with 41 other volumes, mostly literature, most of them - including those described above - in bindings by Haines of Liverpool, with the crest of the Bright family to covers and spines. Sold not subject to return.
