Central Plains Beaded Hide Pictorial Pipe Bag, Lakota, c. 1900, large soft bag, the panel beaded on both sides with multicolored geometric and pictorial devices on a white ground, each side depicting a warrior wearing a long trailer war bonnet, one horse with lightning marks down the sides, polychrome quill and bead wrapped rawhide slats and fringe from the bottom, a small commercial leather "white rabbit" glued to one side of the upper bag, dyed horsehair and tin cone danglers, lg. 35 in.
