(Venice: Aldus Manutius January 1502) 8vo (149 x 86mm.), italic text, final leaf with label title only, nineteenth-century straight-grained navy morocco gilt by Storr of Grantham with the Aldine device stamped in gilt on covers, flat spine gilt, gilt edges, small repaired wormholes in first five leaves, binding very slightly rubbed First Aldine edition, with the incorrect spelling "Propetius" on title-page. Aldus's preface to Marin Sanudo indicates a print run of 3,000 volumes for this work.
