Selected from the Stengel family's vast archive of images, this core group (mostly wire photos) chronicles Casey Stengel’s historic and colorful tenure with the New York Yankees. Most are 8" by 10" and picture Casey in uniform. Almost all of the New York Yankee greats of Casey's era are pictured, along with game action shots from various World Series, special event photos, even a few shots of Crown Prince Akihito of Japan throwing out the ball at Yankee Stadium.
