A MAGNIFICENT AND IMPRESSIVE 18K WHITE GOLD, DIAMOND, EMERALD, ONYX AND ROCK CRYSTAL MYSTERY CLOCK WITH CHIMING MECHANISM SIGNED CARTIER, BLOCAGE ICEBERG, CASE NO. 663506, CIRCA 1995 Designed as a carved rock crystal iceberg scene with blue hardstone rippling water, enhanced by a carved rock crystal dome rotating to reveal a clock with lever movement, with a baguette-cut sapphire dial, with bezel set square-cut numerals at the 12, 3, 6 and 9 o'clock positions, ciruclar-cut diamond star and arrow hands, the iceberg set with carved emerald cylindrical accents and three 18k white gold and pavé-set diamond bears with pear-shaped or circular-cut emerald eyes and black onyx nose, one holding an emerald which twists to reveal a secret side compartment, holding an 18k white gold and blue hardstone winding and setting key, set on one side with a bezel-set old European-cut diamond, the reverse with bezel-set circular-cut diamonds forming the Big Dipper constelation, case and key signed and numbered, with French assay marks and maker's marks 16x11x7 inches
