Small album holding a single card per page, 4 x 5.25 in., with leather covers, ceramic "feet" front and back and embossed clasp. None of the sitters are identified, but photographers include: Landy (Cincinnati), Cheney (Hanover, MI), Stein (Cincinnati), Boswell (Flint, MI), Hartley (Chicago), Waldack (Cincinnati), Winder (Cincinnati) (x2), Hoag & Quick's (Cincinnati), Cadwallader (Marietta, OH), Concannon (Sullivan, IL), Brown & Sturgeon (Zanesville, OH), Gaylord (Charlotte, MI), Ford (Ravenna, OH), plus one Towyn (Wales?). There are also 4 tintypes, most at least cdv-sized. There is a double frame, 2.5 x 4.25 in., with CDVs of man and woman (presumably spouses), also unidentified. Provenance: Dr. John W. Ravage Collection of African American Photography Condition: Typical wear to cdvs, small tintype with some bends. Spine splitting on album, but clasp is intact.
