Title and text printed in red and black. Lithographic frontispiece and 5 plates by and after Laurencin, printed in colours by Desjobert. (Variable spotting.) Original printed wrappers, glassine dustwrapper, chemise and silver paper edged slipcase (wrappers spotted and with small stain, dustwrapper browned and torn, slipcase and chemise worn with losses). Provenance : C.B. Judge (ownership inscription on front free endpaper, possibly Cyril Bathurst Judge, author of Specimens of Sixteenth-Century English Handwriting Taken From Contemporary Public and Private Records (Cambridge, MA: 1935)).
