Black textured boards, lacking pencil. Edges rubbed. Provenance: James Marshall Caldecott gives his address in a note in ink on the front-free endpaper: "This book belongs to 46, Gt. Russell St." Some notes refer specifically to sights in France and Italy probably on assignment for the London Graphic in 1880.
