Winchester Model 54 Supergrade bolt action rifle in desirable .22 Hornet caliber made by Winchester Repeating Arms Company in 1936. Blued round Winchester Proof Steel barrel with hooded ramp front sight (missing hood) with correct rear Winchester 22G rear sight. Barrel has grind mark in front of front sight with evidence of 2 plugged scope holes. Refinished action with welded extra holes in rear bridge with wrong Lyman 57s rear peep. Correct bolt with electropencilled serial number and 3 position safety. Walnut checkered Supergrade style stock with checkered steel buttplate and black forend tip with refinished 1 piece Supergrade marked floorplate with plugged hole for Lyman 48 sight. Stock has wrong sling swivels. CONDITION: 80% original blue on barrel except for grind mark. Action and floorplate totally redone. Stock has applied finish with handling marks. Good bore and mechanics.
