1903 vintage Winchester Model 1894 saddle ring carbine, serial number 278807. Rare configured carbine with double set triggers and Model 21 receiver sight. 20" round barrel with full length magazine tube. Chambered in .32 Winchester Special. Fitted with sling eyes, complete with correct sling hooks. Saddle ring mounted to left side of frame. Plain straight grain walnut stock and long forearm. Carbine barrel band. Rarely seen on a saddle ring carbine, rifle style crescent buttplate. CONDITION: Very fine with 90-93% original blue on the barrel and magazine. Frame shows traces of original blue blending with a grey patina. Wood is very fine showing moderate wear with a gouge on the comb of the stock. Bore is bright.
