Winchester Model 1885 deluxe Highwall Schuetzen single shot rifle made by the Winchester Repeating Arms Company in 1907. Blued 30" Winchester No. 4 weight octagon barrel in caliber .32-40 with a rare special ordered top barrel flat matted full length, Winchester name, and caliber stamping located on left side barrel flat. The barrel is fitted with a Winchester wind gauge adjustable globe front sight and what we believe to be a factory-installed Winchester "A5" telescope. Blued proofmarked coil spring takedown Highwall pistol grip action with Schuetzen double set triggers and blued Laudensack scroll spur lever and a Winchester mid-range Vernier tang sight. Deluxe Grade American walnut Laudensack Model checkered pistol grip stock with Schuetzen cheekpiece and Laudensack Model buttplate. Matching original checkered forearm with factory-installed palm rest base with palm rest, Winchester pistol grip cap. Factory research confirms this rifle as a Laudensack Model with all extras confirmed except the Winchester telescope. CONDITION: 90% barrel blue with edge wear. 90% action blue with some flaking and fading to a plum color. 90% original varnish with some light handling marks. Super bore, clear optics, and excellent mechanics.
